Grand Theft Auto V: Official Gameplay Video

GTA-5The first official in-game footage of Rockstar’s highly regarded Grand Theft Auto V has been unveiled ahead of the game’s release on September 17. And it’s safe to say that it’s definitely a “Game of the Year” contender. The clip gives the first real look into how you will drive, run and shoot your way through a teeming, living world in search of money, glory and mayhem. A few highlights include mini-games like tennis, cycling, diving, hunting, bounty hunting, stock trading; cutting between vantage points mid-mission to provide support and escape routes; and multiplayer, of course. By the way, did I mention jets? Too sick. HoLy f*ck balls.. Drop your thoughts on this awesomeness below..

PuzzleBox Brain-Controlled Helicopter

Yes, you read that correctly. The Puzzlebox Brain-Controlled Helicopter (R1800) lets you control a floating orb using nothing but your brain power. The package includes a NeuroSky MindWave Mobile EEG headset, a Pryamid that serves as a home base and remote control, and the Orbit helicopter/orb itself. Simply select a flight path, slide on the headset, and focus — the software in the Pyramid will interpret your levels of concentration and relaxation and move the helicopter appropriately. A perfect gift for the sci-fi geek on your list.

“GameDock” Turns your iOS Device into a Retro Console

Turn your iOS device into a retro game console with GameDock by Cascadia Games. You can play all the great games of your childhood with 2 player and multiplayer via NES USB controllers. Thanks to the NES your device will charge while playing, making it possible to game for hours and hours. In the past iCade had brought us something similar but this takes it to another level. Over 100 games can be played and there will sure be more coming. Fundraiser KickStarter just reached their funding goal of $50,000 yesterday.

Developer Andi Greisel said: ”I loved NES when I was a kid, and still do really, so I immediately started developing around those controllers. We certainly have discussed using other controllers, like SNES, but the look and feel of the NES controller just got me excited. Plus, there is beauty in their simplicity.”

We agree.
